The Access to Justice Technology Fellowship Program is a transformative 10-week experience designed to empower law students with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to drive meaningful change in the legal field. The program combines intensive training, hands-on project work, and mentorship to create a comprehensive learning experience.
Before starting their fellowship, participants undergo a comprehensive orientation program. This includes workshops on community engagement, leadership development, and project management to prepare fellows for their year-long journey.

Each community has a different history, demographic makeup and unique way of interacting that should be taken into account when planning for any community engagement activity. Therefore, any community engagement or public involvement plan requires the upfront work of understanding community dynamics and identifying effective and respectful ways to engage residents of a particular place.
We nurture a cohort of fellows, aiding them in developing a shared knowledge base and identity. frequent dialogues, training, and understanding, rooted in critical theory, authentic engagement, and reflective learning.
Each A2J Tech Fellow is paired with a mentor they meet with several times throughout the program. The intention behind this pairing is to encourage one-on-one connections that enable Fellows to delve more deeply into specific areas of legal innovation that interest them.
